It’s time to dig out that running kit, as Sport Relief returns to the High Peak next month.
On March 23, there will be Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile races taking place across the borough with hundreds of runners getting on their marks, set and go for the national charity.
Super sprinters and willing walkers will all feel at home with a choice of one, three or six miles at every event.
The Buxton mile around the pavilion gardens, hosted by DC Leisure Management, starts at 10.30am; the New Mills mile along the valley trail, hosted by New Mills Leisure Centre, starts at 10am; the Bradwell mile, hosted by Bradwell Guides and the sports club, starts at 11am and the Glossop mile, hosted by St Philip Howard Sports College, starts at Manor Park at 10.30am. Entry costs £6 for adults and £3 for children. Image below is Glossop Sport Relief Mile in 2012
